Updated: Aug 14

In the summer of 2023, classrooms in Raipur buzzed with excitement—not for exams, but for innovation. At NH Goel World School, twelve young finalists stood before a panel of educators and tech experts, their voices trembling with nervous excitement as they pitched bold ideas rooted in Artificial Intelligence. These weren’t college graduates or seasoned entrepreneurs. They were school students, some as young as 11.

This was the finale of Data & AI Talks 2023, a transformative initiative by {igebra.ai}, a US-based AI education company on a mission to democratize AI learning from the ground up. Over 10,000 students from 12 schools had participated. From that ocean of talent, 1,034 made it to qualifiers, 61 reached Level 2, and just 12 reached the final stage.

Among those finalists was Manan Sethia, who clinched victory in Senior Group C, earning an iPad and national recognition for his AI-powered solution. His story, like those of many others, was a powerful reminder: when given the right platform, children don’t just dream of the future—they design it.

A Glimpse Into Young Innovation

The 2023 edition wasn’t about turning students into CEOs overnight. It was about something more foundational—exposure, exploration, and empowerment. Students explored challenges in areas like sustainability, safety, and education, applying AI in imaginative and thoughtful ways.

The event cultivated critical thinking, presentation skills, and collaborative ideation—all essential tools for any young learner in today's world
